How do I prevent someone to whom I make a workbook available from editing my
macros.

Default Protect Macros

Go to the properties of your Module code, click on the Protection tab and
password protect it.

A word of caution.
Pl note that excel and vba security is not reliable.
Anyone who is determined to break in can do so very easily.
There are lot of tools available on net. Jus google it.
It will only stop a novice and ignorent users.
