Default Subtotals + Autofilter

I'm trying to Autofilter according to Subtotals with out loosing the grouping
under the subtotals. I'm looking to filter all subtotals under 10K but the
Autofilter filters out the sub items under each subtotal rather then
according to the subtotal group.

1 2 3 Cust Name $$$$
. A 5,000
. A 3,000
. A 5,000
+ A Total 13,000
+ B Total 3,000
+ C Total 20,000

How do I filter out (remove) the B total and it's sub item group for example?
