Default Excel Cell Display window blanked out

Hello,

The small window above my spreadsheet that normally holds the contents of
the current cell is now showing as blank, regardless of which cell I'm on.
I'm not sure how it got that way as yesterday it was fine. If I put my
cursor in it, I can tell by its placement that the contents are actually
there, however I can't see them --- as if they are there but in a white font
or something so appear invisible.

Can anyone help me get this back to where it displays so I can view my cell
formulas.

Best,

Jake
