Default using a vlookup to enter text into rows beneath the vlookup cell

I would like to have text entered into rows beneath a vlookup cell from which
the text is selected.

Each time i select the text in the vlookup, i would like the new text to be
entered below the previous selected text

There is code on the following helpful link that places text in an adjacent
cell, but ideally i need the text to be added in rows beneath the vlookup cel

see DataValMultiSelect

Can ayone help?

Something like this

Application.EnableEvents = False
If Target.Column = 3 Then
If Target.Value = "" Then GoTo exitHandler
If Target.Offset(1, 0).Value = "" Then
Target.Offset(1,0).Value = Target.Value
Else
Lastrow = target.end(xldown).row
Newrow = Lastrow + 1
cells(NewRow,Target.column) = _
Target.Value
End If
End If
