Is it possible to reset Excel sheet tracking count.
For example I do not have right now a sheet1, but if I had a sheet it will be called sheet 34 (because I deleted many). I know that I can rename the sheet - but that is not what I am after, I want that next time that I insert a sheet it will be sheet 1 if sheet 1 does not exist, or sheet 2 if sheet 1 does exist but sheet2 does not. Thanks , Dan |

When you close and open a workbook the new sheet index is reset. I know of no
