Default IF Function

Hi, Can I use the if function to change the cell color , say if I say if cell
a5 = 28 aug 06 then turn cell a5 green , can any one give me an idea how to
do this.

Default IF Function

One way to do that is conditional formating. (Found under the Format
menu, "Conditional Formating")
