Is it possible to imbed a .pdf or .doc file in an Excel workbook?

Default Imbedded .pdf or .doc files

This looks like a hyperlink - all it shows is text, not the document itself.
If hyperlinking is the answer, okay. That's the way to go. I didn't know if
new releases of Excel had new capabilities beyond hyperlinking.
