Default Hold down f8

In Excel VBA code on one computer if I hold down the f8 key the code runs to
the end, however on another computer holding it down only steps from one
line to the next. Anyone have an idea.

Ron,

Try checking the key repeat rate setting on the "slower" computer.

No luck changing repeat rate. One computer has a wireless keyboard, would
this make a difference.

Ron,
Don't know about keyboards, but some programs react differently if I use my
USB mouse in a USB port, rather than with an adapter in PS/2 port.

Ron,

In this kind of situation almost anything is possible, as Nick's post
would indicate. You can swap in a wired keyboard for the wireless one
(and turn off the wireless KB's driver software) for a definitive
answer.

There could be other software running on the "slow" computer that isn't
on the "normal" one. This could be a legitimate application or some
kind of virus or other malware (maybe a keystroke logger?).

You may need to turn off some processes one by one to see if one of
them is the culprit.
