Hold down f8
In Excel VBA code on one computer if I hold down the f8 key the code runs to
the end, however on another computer holding it down only steps from one line to the next. Anyone have an idea. |

Ron,
Try checking the key repeat rate setting on the "slower" computer. |

No luck changing repeat rate. One computer has a wireless keyboard, would
this make a difference. "Mark Lincoln" wrote in message ups.com... Ron, Try checking the key repeat rate setting on the "slower" computer. |

Ron,
Don't know about keyboards, but some programs react differently if I use my USB mouse in a USB port, rather than with an adapter in PS/2 port. NickHK "Ron Dean" wrote in message . nl... Ron,
In this kind of situation almost anything is possible, as Nick's post would indicate. You can swap in a wired keyboard for the wireless one (and turn off the wireless KB's driver software) for a definitive answer. There could be other software running on the "slow" computer that isn't on the "normal" one. This could be a legitimate application or some kind of virus or other malware (maybe a keystroke logger?). You may need to turn off some processes one by one to see if one of them is the culprit. |
