![]() Hi I dont want someone else to use my work, instead of password protect it, I want to hardcode my friends company name in the "view code" section, and if the name gets changed on the worksheets, it must auto hide all sheets. Or is there a much better way to do this? regards -- sonar ------------------------------------------------------------------------ sonar's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...fo&userid=8424 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=469296 |

If you're really looking for security, your best bet is to stay with the
password (under File|SaveAs|tools). Anything else would probably depend on macros and macros can be disabled. sonar wrote: Hi I dont want someone else to use my work, instead of password protect it, I want to hardcode my friends company name in the "view code" section, and if the name gets changed on the worksheets, it must auto hide all sheets.
