External Data - Field Names Changed
Hi there
My aacounting software has changed field names in various tables with their latest release. I have changed the SQL with VBA using the "Replace" function (Thanks to Dick Kusleika www.dicks-clicks.com). However on refreshing the table, the original field column seems to be deleted with the new fields inserted in an order I cannot fathom. Formulae inserted into the table referring to the original fields have #REF!. Is there a way to tell Excel to bring in the data in respect of the renamed field into the correct column? Thanks in anticipation. Michael |
