Default Purchase entry (Invoices) in Excel, quick and easy. Does anybody k

I need to use excel for data entry (purchases entries) and I'm looking to do
it quick and easy.
Is there any way to view a list of either the vendor's codes or GL accounts
just by typing the first letter or number?
Is it posible to relate a vendor with a specific account?
I would appreciate any help.
