Default Unable to Insert new Worksheet

I have a spreadsheet that I have many VBA macros in. I wanted to insert a
new worksheet ( Insert | Worksheet ), but that option is greyed-out. I tried
to add a worksheet through VBA and got an error. I tried to unprotect the
workbook, but I get a password box.

I can insert worksheets into othere excel workbooks.

Is it possible that some addin has protected the workbook.

The workbook is definitely protected and yes an addin can do something like
that. That being said the addin could also be password protected.

The workbook is definitely protected. Data | Protect has an Unprotect
Workbook option. When I choose it, it presents a password dialog.
