How can I allow only cell contents to be copied but not formatting
I am desperate for an answer to this.
I created a protected sheet that only allows some cells to have data entered - the rest are locked out. BUT it doesn't prevent people from copying the data from one 'enterable' cell into another - but when this is done, the formatting, i.e., the borders, the font size and style, etc, get put into the new cell. How do I run a program in Excel so that everyone using the form/document can only cut and paste data from one unlocked cell to another, but have the data in the receiving cell retain it's own formatting. Can anything be done to prevent the formatting from being copied...just the data? Please please, I'd be most gratefu. Sincerely, Martin |
