Protect my macros
I'm creating workbooks for a group of basic XL users. I don't want them
to mess my the macros should they get into the VBA editor. I've tried to protect them by selecting the module, going into Properties and turning on the password protection on the security tab. This, as near as I can tell, does nothing. I then tried protecting the worksheet, thinking that maybe the macro protection only worked if the sheet itself was protected. No effect. Is there a way to protect my macros? I'm not trying to protect them from serious hackers, just accidental or curious end users. |
