When I open my workbook I get a pop-up message box with the following message.
This workbook contains links to other data sources thus I am provided three options of update, Don't Update, or Help. Is there VB code I input that will update the workbook automatically. |

Bill,
I think this will stop the prompt and allow the update to proceed. Select Tool, Option, View. Look for "Ask to Update" if the check box is selected unselect it. Charles "Bill" wrote in message ... Thanks. That appears to have worked. Bill "Charles Harmon" wrote: Bill, I think this will stop the prompt and allow the update to proceed. Select Tool, Option, View.
