Default Just Excel VBA, skip rest

Hi Group,
I have asked this before and received an answer, but I had a system crash.
How do I access this group with out all of the "extras"? By extras I mean the
things like the left side of the window, "Office Discussion Groups" list, the
"Search for:"____ In:_______ Go:______, etc. I am looking for just the
list of threads and what is related to it. Thanks for your help.

Hi
after logging in and the available newsgroups on the left side, right-click
onf the NG, choose 'Copy shortcut' and paste this link in the IE address bar

Connect direct to the NG, msnews.microsoft.com, in a news reader app, don't
go through a web portal.

Hi
http://support.microsoft.com/newsgro...ing&sloc=en-us

But as Bob stated better to use a newsreader to connect directly to the NG
(see: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/xlnews.htm) unless you're not
able to use a newsreader
