Default File Already Open Error When Executing A Macro

Three more things:

When I click on the Custom Button, the TF Macros.xls file i
automatically opened.

Someone suggested that I reboot (same vein as take 2 aspirin & call m
in the morning) to clear the file already open error. The first macr
is working fine now.
It is supposed to end at the point where the user provides input -
this termination is working fine. However, when another Custom Butto
is clicked (the designed purpose is to continue macro processing),
get the TF Macros.xls file already open message. If, prior to clickin
on the second Custom Button, I close TF Macros.xls -- I then get th
message that TF Macros.xls cannot be found.

The final quirk: after getting the cannot find message, if I ke
Alt+{F8}, select the appropriate macro, and key 'Run' -- macr
processing continues.
