i've recently just started using newsgroups like these, the only ones i
know how to acces are the microsoft ones, how can i find more to
subscribe to?

Depends on what your interest are. I believe Google keeps a repository of
all other Groups messages. So go to www.groups.google.com and you will find
countless groups there. If ur interested in Excel only (or Microsoft
products) then as per the Veterans using the Microsoft group's itself is
enough.(others arent considered as good as the original. Probably all the
messages in other newsgroups like excelforum anyway gets posted here.)
