Default Command buttons duplicating themselves

I have a spreadsheet with several command buttons. For
some reason, several of the command buttons duplicate
themselves, for no apparent reason.

Specifically, I would find copies of each command button
piled on top of each button. There were normally only
two copies of each button piled on top of each one.

In case this other data is pertinent, the Format Control
properties selected are (1) Move and size with cells, and
(2) Print object.

Why would command buttons duplicate themselves? How do I
prevent this from occurring?

Thank you very much.

You're duplicating them. I know because I do it all the time. You're
holding Ctrl down when you click them. The slightest mouse movement during
the click causes a drag. And a Ctrl-drag creates a copy.

Hi Jim:

Thank you for your reply.

I honestly thought after posting my inquiry that I could have
something to do with causing my own problem. I will watch for what you
recommend.

Thanks, again, for your fabulous help.

All the best,

Jeff
