Hi there,
I have MS Office 2000 and have a question, I hope someone can help me. I have a column with the date of birth formated as mm/dd/yyyy. M problem is that some subjects were born before 1900 but instead o getting mm/dd/yyyy I get yyyy/mm/dd and I can't change the format t mm/dd/yyyy in those that were born before 1900. Does anyone know how can change the EXCEL format so it accepts dates before 1900? than -- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com |

Hi lalohg!
Excel does not support dates before 1-Jan-1900. You might take a look at: John Walkenbach: Extended Date Functions http://j-walk.com/ss/excel/files/xdate.htm These take advantage of VBA being able to handle dates back to 400. -- Regards Norman Harker MVP (Excel) Sydney, Australia "lalohg " wrote in message ... Xdate does not perform magic, and it has some limitations.
You will need to enter your dates as formulas. Make sure you read the accompanying documentation. It's all explained reasonably well.
