Default Question to speed up a process -

I have a sheet of over 4000 lines that i need to run a
comparison to a weekly update of over 4000 lines.

Other jobs i have done have been for sheets with up to
1200 lines. When i ran my code on the sheet with 4000
lines, it took over 2 hours to execute.

What i am doing is taking any lines that have been added
to a weekly download and inserting them into the master
sheet.

If i were using Fox Pro, i could run a quick query and
have a seperate table that would only have lines in the
update that did not exist in the Master sheet and the
update would be done much faster.

any ideas?

Is there a way to query a spreadsheet in such a way?

TIA
Patrick
