Default A Word Problem...

Sorry to post this here, but I can't find a forum for Microsoft Word. And besides, maybe someone here knows the answer to my little problem or at least guide me to a Word forum where I can ask this ::-

The problem I`m dealing with, is that I have an MSWord document from a previous version, 2000 i guess and now I use word 2003. And my little issue is that MsWord 2003 corrects the text in that document and I hate it!!!! It deletes text, makes underlines, and lots of notations in the right side of the document! It is very anoying!!!! I have searched the options for about an hour and didn't find anything that could help me. It sux! I hate it ::-). It screws up my entire document with his annoyng useless notations. Anybody knows how to correct this? Please????

Thank you a lot in advance.
