Default Using Outlook98 with Excel97

Hello -
I am wondering if there is a way in VBA to open emails that are in
my Inbox. I have Excel 97 and I use Outlook 98. Eventually, I want to
open emails from a specific sender with a specific subject, open the
..xls attachment in each email, and get data from that attachment. Is
this possible?

Thanks,
Keith

Check out Dick's site for a example
http://www.dicks-clicks.com/excel/ol...eving%20E-Mail
Or
http://www.dicks-clicks.com/excel/ol...%20Attachments

I don't know if this is working in Outlook 98.
But I am sure you can read this on the site

Thanks Ron - those websites were great. I'm getting errors every time
I make a reference to a folder that I created in Outlook, but it works
great with the default ones such as Inbox, Deleted Items, etc. But
perhaps that just isn't possible with Outlook 98 or Excel 97. Thanks
for your help!!

I don't have OL98, but how are you referencing the folders that are giving
the errors? And what errors are you getting?
