I am trying to create a personal worksheet whereby the following occurs.
I want the user to select in cell A1 one of the following from a data validation list: FORD, GM, CHRYSLER, HONDA, TOYOTA. From this drop down list, I want the cursor to automatically move (through a macro?) to cell B1 whereby a new data validation list is made available to the user. The trick is, this new drop down list is dependent upon the selection in cell A1. For instance, if FORD is selected in A1, then a list of FORD cars/trucks is the list presented to the user in cell B1. If GM where selected, then a list of GM cars/trucks would be provided in cell B1. Can this be done? ------------------------------------------------ ~~ Message posted from http://www.ExcelTip.com/ ~~ View and post usenet messages directly from http://www.ExcelForum.com/ |
