Default data validation in excel 2000

in sheet 1 i have a list of 100 stocks and their returns since jan
1990 and in sheet 2 i have a list of 50 benchmark indices with data
since jan 1990.

in sheet 3 i want to use data validation or smthg like that thru which
if i click in cell a1 , i get this 100 stocks list and if i select any
one of them , i get its name in cell b1 and below that in cell c1
onwards get all the data for that stock since jan 1990.....

and the same shud happen for benchmark index in the next column ....

how do i do this ......
------------------------------

in sheet 1 -

column A has numbers 1 to 100
column B has 100 stock names....

cell a1 has "date"
cell b1 has "stock"
cell c1 has jan 1990 , d1 , feb 1990 , e1 mar 1990 onwards

and below that i have data for these months ...

in sheet 2
