end of data in column
u may record macro by doing this.
select last row (65536)at the column u like to count, press end then up arrow key, then the cursor will be at the end row of the column. take the activecell.rownumber properties as the last record. Then, open the recorded macro, then u will know the code. "Sam" wrote in message om... hi there i have 2 columns A and B. column A has fund names x y z p q r etc etc column B has strategy names m n o etc etc the number of funds and startgies are not fixed. i can have less or more. it can change with time i want a macro to copy only fundanames and place them in a column on "Sheet2" say cell A 5 and the strategies shud be placed in the row say cell B4 onwards.... in simple terms i want to create a matrix/table whose x axis is strategy name and y axis is fundname... but as the number of funds and strategies change i m not able to do that... how do i make my macro understand where the data ends .... can u help? mail me at thanks in advance sameer |
