Let Excel change it to ="Yes"
You just type plain old Yes in the dialog box with no quotes. Excel will handle it from there. If you type "Yes" then you will wind up with =""Yes"" Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Tue, 18 Jul 2006 08:21:02 -0700, tim m wrote: I just did a test and it seems to want: Cell value is equal to ="Yes" "Betty Csehi" wrote: I have text (Yes and No) in various cells. If the cell contains a Yes, I want the color to be Blue. I've gone into conditional formatting and selected: Cell Value is Equal to Yes (and then formatted to blue text) When I do this, I get no change. Can someone help?? Thanks. |
