Default Updating Cells with new info


All,

I have written a spreadsheet with the formulas I want to use which as
'Sumproduct' but when I change the data that the sumproduct formula
reads it doesnt automaticaly update and I have the double click in the
cell and press enter then is will update?

Any ideas?

Do you have Tools|Calculation set for Automatic?

That should be Tools|Options|Calculation tab.

this may be due to manual calculation checked

go to tools options calculation tab check automatic

that should work

Maybe....

Select all the cells in that worksheet
edit|replace
what: = (equal sign)
with: = (equal sign)
replace all

Then test it out to see if that change all woke up excel.

Thanks for the advice but still the same problem.

It works for most but I still have th double click in some cells and
then enter to update?

This is the first time it has ever happened to me?
