Consecutive Page Numbering with Multiple Worksheets
I have a file that has multiple worksheets. I print all worksheets together
as they make up one master document. I would like to use a footer and have the pages automatically number. However, using the basic tools in Excel, the insert page number function starts from 1 at each new worksheet. I would settle for the ability to type in the number I would like each worksheet to start numbering from. For example, if the first worksheet prints 3 pages, I could tell the second worksheet to start numbering at 4. Any suggestions? |

Hi Daria, You have just to group your worksheets before printing: holding down the Shift key select the first and then the last sheet to print, from Print Preview you can see that the page numbers are countinuos from the first to the last sheet. Instead, if you don't want to print every sheet in your file, hold down the Ctrl Key while selecting the sheets to print. -- (I'm not sure of names of menues, option and commands, because translating from the Italian version of Excel...) Hope I helped you. Ciao Franz Verga from Italy |

Consecutive Page Numbering with Multiple Worksheets
Hello Franz,
My problem is just the opposite of Daria's. I want each worksheet to print with its own set of page numbers but all I get is consecutive numbers from 1 to 30. I want the first worksheet to be numbered 1 - 6, the second worksheet to be numbered 1 - 5... I tried to work you solution backwards but still could not get it to work. Any other suggestions? TIA, Sammy "Franz Verga" wrote: Nel post *Daria* ha scritto: I have a file that has multiple worksheets. I print all worksheets together as they make up one master document.
