Default formula equals cell directly above

Hi
Just wondering if there is a formula like ... 'the cell alway equals the one
above it' no matter where it is pasted to apart from
A3 = A2
because if i use this formula and if the row above is deleted it doesn't
adjust.

=OFFSET(A6,-1,0)
