Default spreadsheet lost in IE5 file

I pulled up an xls file from an e-mail, worked on it, then saved it with a
new name thinking it was going to My Documents. Instead it went to
C:\documents and settings\administrator\localsettings\temporary internet
files\content.IE5\SPU3852B\with the file's name and .xls extension next.
When I search for this file, it shows it as a Shortcut and says that it has
been changed and I can't access it. Is there ANY way to get this file back
with my changes on it? Thanks!
