Default formula, move to previous cell when the current cell=0 or empty

Dear All,

I need to know the formula which enable me to goto the previous cell when
the current cell is empty
e.g.
I have data ( text / changeable) in colum c
normaully not all the colum contain data
so i want to goto the last cell in this colum which has
a reading.
