Default Disable formatting on csv open?

Hi!

When opening a csv file in 2003, Excel "formats" the data - it coverts
one field that is text but looks suspiciously like a date to a date
field. Is there a way to disable this or set Excel to open the file
with all fields formatted for text?

Thanks!
Heather
