Default How do I add imported data with a - sign after it to make it add .

I import data from a program that has a negative sign after the numbers.
(example 100-) When I try to add the numbers, they will not add. I get
zeros. I'm looking for a solution to get the fields to add. Thank you.

Try this:

Select the range to be impacted
<data<text-to-columns
Click the [Next] button twice
In Step_3:
Set the column format to General
Click the [Advanced] button
Check: Trailing minus sign for negative numbers
Clck [OK]
Click [Finish]

Does that help?
