MS Excel should handle dates before 1900!
Please update the Excel program to handle dates before 1/1/1900. Currently I
have to enter older dates as strings and then jump through hoops to use them as actual dates. dBase, FoxPro and heck even Clipper handle pre-1900 dates without any problem, so why can't a great product like Excel do the same? ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes.
