Default Enter 2 dates in same excel cell

I was searching how to enter more than one date in a single excel sheet, but
failed to find an answer. Here is my situation : I have a two days training
at my job, and we use excel to keep track of the trainings.

Now, let's pretend that the training took place May 1st and 2nd 2006. I want
to enter those 2 dates in a cell, but I also want to be able to sort the
trainings by date, and the only way (that I know of) to put May 1-2 2006 in a
cell is to format it as text. But as we all know, doing that will screw your
chronological sorting.

We should be able to enter 2 dates in a cell with the option of sorting it
chronologically without a hassle.
