I would like to email a workbook with formulas that refer to cells in other
workbooks/worksheets. How can the recipient open the emailed workbook without being prompted to update it, but still show the most current values that were pulled from the other spreadsheets? Thank you. |

You can control the behaviour of the startup prompt in the menu Edit -
Links. It looks like the option that will fit your need is "Don't display the alert and don't update automatic links" Hope this helps, Miguel. I am using Excel 2000 and I don't see that option under Edit - Links.

Sorry, I don't have Excel 2000 available, and I don't know how that option is
