I would like to email a workbook with formulas that refer to cells in other
workbooks/worksheets. How can the recipient open the emailed workbook
without being prompted to update it, but still show the most current values
that were pulled from the other spreadsheets? Thank you.

You can control the behaviour of the startup prompt in the menu Edit -
Links. It looks like the option that will fit your need is "Don't display
the alert and don't update automatic links"

Hope this helps,
Miguel.

I am using Excel 2000 and I don't see that option under Edit - Links.
Please help. Thank you.

Sorry, I don't have Excel 2000 available, and I don't know how that option is
managed there.

Miguel.
