![]() Hi, Does anybody know whether you can have Excel make a Data Validation List based on a previous Data Validation List? That is if I select x in A1 (as part of a DVL which consists of x,y,z,etc), that a DVL in B1 is created with values x1,x2,x3, etc).. Thanks, that save me a lot of work ;-) Peter -- Peter1999 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Peter1999's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=33997 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=538459 |

![]() Thanks for replying, RagDyer, but using this method I could only use entries in A1:A100 that have only one word. As the data is complicated and the file has to be user friendly, I will have to be able to use multiple words. If anybody has tips, thanks a lot, Peter -- Peter1999 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Peter1999's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=33997 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=538459 |
