![]() Hello all, I am a newbie to Excel so I apoligize in advance. I am required at my job to copy specific text from a website and paste it in to a specific cell in an Excel spreadsheet. I have been manually copy/pasting from the website into the spreadsheet. I am required to do this hundreds of times a day. I know there has to be a way to automate this process. After searching on Google I came across Excel Web Query feature. This is almost exactly what I am looking for. The problem is that the text on the website that I need to import into Excel is not in a table. (which I gather is required by the web query feature in order to work) Am I on the right track? Is the web query the right way to do this task? If not I have come to ask you all, the experts how I can accomplish this. It seems like this would be fairly simple to do, but I cant for the life of me figure out how. Any suggestions or help would be awsome. Thank you, Joe. -- superspiker ------------------------------------------------------------------------ superspiker's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=33767 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=535373 |
