Sales charts
I am looking to create a sales chart. The problem I'm running into is this;
instead of side by side columns that show actual sales vs. sales goal, I want to have a line on the Y axis that markes the sales goal. Better yet, it would be great if the marker could be on the chart itself so when sales exceeds the goal, the column would grow beyond the line set for the sales goal. Any ideas? Again, I'm on Excel 2002 |

Hi
You can either enter the sales goal as a separate series of data - and chart it as a line on the bar chart, or you could check Jon's site he http://www.peltiertech.com/Excel/Cha...s.html#AddLine which might help you. I found a way I can overlap one column with the other. The problem is at the
begining of the month sales is completely hidden by goals and vis versa at the end of the month if I switch them around. When I try to set the transparency on the columns, it's greyed out.
