![]() Using the AutoFilter buttons to sort records, I found that some of the columns were not included in the sort. That was disasterous! That is, when I sorted on a column to the right of "D", all the columns to the right of "C" would be included, but columns A, B, and C would not be included. Same thing, if I sorted column A, then columns B and C would be included, but not anything to the right of C. I had inserted columns B and C, and they did not have anything in the column heading row. So, I added column headings and voila!, everything stays together now. All columns are included in the sort, no matter which column is being sorted on. Then, I found other workbooks that were structured exactly the same, had no column headings in B and C, but the sorts included all columns, anyway. Is this an Excel bug or am I missing something? -- 1scant ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1scant's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=31635 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=518431 |
