Default Automatic formating

Hi,
Is there a way to change/personalize an automatic formating in Excel? For
example, when I ask for sub-totals in a sheet, I would like that all the line
of sub-total be in Bold! Not just the 1st column.

Tks,
Barbara

I don't think you can change excel's behavior, but you could just format those
cells after you apply data|subtotals.

I like to hide all the details (using the outlining symbols to the left)
then select the cells to format
edit|goto|special|visible cells only
Then format the cells the way I like.
