Default Link Between To Workbooks

Is it possible to create a link between two work books?

I have prepared a data base workbook with client contact information in
one row and a work book with the clients activities. I would like to
click on a cell (A1) (like a button) at the begining of each client in
the data base that would link me to the client's activity workbook.

EXAMPLE:
DATA BASE WORK BOOK
A1 A2
LINK JOHN DOE

CLICK ON A1(LINK) TAKES YOU TO A CELL IN ACTIVITY WORKBOOK.

Ideas appreciated.

Thank you.

Like a hyperlink???

You can hit insert|hyperlink
and follow those instructions to point to a different workbook

You could even use a worksheet formula:

=HYPERLINK("C:\my documents\excel\book1.xls#'sheet 1'!A1")
