Why does my excel file have an extension reading ".xls:1"?
I took some work home and worked on an excel file ( an older version of
excel) and when I saved the file at home the characters :1 were added to the extension. Can I get rid of them? |

Why does my excel file have an extension reading ".xls:1"?
The :x indicates that the workbook has more than one window open

Thanks, I didn't realize I had hidden a workbook.
