Default How to avoid date convertions when importing external web data?

I tried to import web data from excel, which basically a very great function.

However, once the original data format is like 12-2, 3-10, etc, excel will
automatically covert it to dates to Dec-2, Mar-10 on spreadsheet.
(an example: try import the NBA standing table from www.nba.com via
"Data-Import External Data-New web query")

Is there anyways to turn off this coversion before importing data? or any
other ways to work around?

Thanks a lot.
