13E2 or 1.30E+03 format problem
It might be tricky - for example 1E3 and 10E2 give the same number
and format, so you couldn't reverse-engineer these. If the codes are always of the precise form abEc where the n's are digits and a<0 then the formula =LEFT(A1,2)&"E"&LEN(A1)-2 should do it.
