Sharing Custom Menus
I have a series of macros that I would like to share with others at my office. I'm comfortable with sending them the .xls file from the xlStart folder that has the macros. However, I would also like to share my customized menu that runs many of the macros. Can anyone explain how I can share the custom menus with others? Thanks in advance! -- blriggscg ------------------------------------------------------------------------ blriggscg's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=28329 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=479122 |

Sharing Custom Menus
It is possible to write a macro to do this, but a simpler solution is
to open the spreadsheet you will be sending them then go to Tools|Customize... and on the Toolbars tab click New... This will make a custom toolbar. Drag your custom menu on to this toolbar. Then, click on Attatch... and select the custom toolbar you just made. Then click on Copy then OK then Close. Your custom toolbar is now stored in the spreadsheet. When the person you're sending it to opens it, they will have your custom toolbar, with the menu on it. |
