Default Why does the cell I'm editing put the text on the right side?

I have moved a document from Word to Excel to put it in column format. Some
cells have moved text to the right side of the cell and I can't figure out
how to move it to the left. How do you change the cell from right to left?
Please Help!!!

Select the cells you want to change and then pull-down:

Format Cells... Alignment Horizontal

and then select Left

Good Luck
